BentoBox alternative with prices on the page

BentoBox, owned by Clover's parent Fiserv, builds restaurant websites with ordering, gift cards and reservations, but doesn't publish prices; you book a demo to get a quote. Nomback is an alternative focused on your own ordering and rewards app, with every price listed: $99 a month for the app or $129 with a website, no commission.

How it works

  1. Pick the app, the website or both from a price list, no sales call needed.
  2. We build it under your restaurant's name in about two weeks.
  3. Customers order in your app, earn stamps, and hear from you by push notification.

What it costs

Your own ordering and rewards app (iPhone and Android)$99$399

No commission on any order and no fee added to your customers. Card payments go through Stripe at 2.9% + 30¢. Apple charges $99 a year and Google $25 once for the developer accounts, which are in your name. Month to month, and live in about two weeks. Full pricing.

BentoBox vs Nomback

BentoBox's pricing page lists plans for table-service and counter-service restaurants but no dollar amounts. It says there are no contracts and offers 10% off annual plans (BentoBox pricing).

Who should pick which

BentoBox is the stronger choice for a full-service restaurant that lives on reservations, private events and a polished website, and that wants one vendor for all of it. Fiserv bought BentoBox in 2021 to add it to its Clover restaurant tools (Restaurant Dive).

Nomback is for the takeout-heavy independent, like a pizzeria, a taqueria or a sandwich shop, where most money comes from regulars reordering. There the app on their phone, the stamp card and a push on a slow night do more than a reservation widget.

Why the published price matters

A demo-first price can be fine, but it makes comparison hard and tends to land higher than the owner expected. Nomback's prices are the same for everyone and listed at nomback.com/pricing, including what goes to Apple, Google and Stripe.
