Commission-free online ordering in your own app

Nomback gives a restaurant commission-free online ordering in its own iPhone and Android app for a flat $99 a month and $399 setup. Customers order and pay for pickup or your own delivery; orders arrive on a tablet or your kitchen printer. On a $30 order you pay $1.17 in card fees instead of $9 at a 30% delivery app.

How it works

  1. We set up your menu, options, hours and pickup times in about two weeks.
  2. Customers order and pay in your app or from the button on your website.
  3. Orders print in your kitchen or show on a tablet, already paid.

What happens when someone orders

What's included and what isn't

Customers want to order from you

Asked by DoorDash itself, 43% of consumers preferred ordering delivery directly from the restaurant's site or app versus 27% through third-party apps (Restaurant Business). And 57% of adults had recently used mobile ordering, according to the National Restaurant Association (NRA).

Pickup first, then delivery

Pickup is the cheapest order a restaurant gets: no driver, no commission, and the customer walks past your counter where they might add a drink. Most owners start their app with pickup and their own drivers for nearby addresses.

If you run your own drivers, you set the delivery area and the fee. If you don't, keep using a delivery app for delivery and steer regulars to pickup in your app with a stamp on every order.

Questions owners ask

Is it really commission-free?

Yes. Nomback charges $99 a month and $399 setup, and no percentage of any order. Stripe charges normal card processing.

Do customers pay a service fee?

No. Nomback adds no fee to the customer's order.

Can I do delivery?

Yes, with your own drivers. Delivery through DoorDash Drive is coming soon.

Where do orders show up?

On a tablet or your kitchen printer. A Clover connection is rolling out and isn't live yet.

Can customers order from my website too?

Yes. One line of code adds an order button to your site that opens the same ordering.

How long until I'm taking orders?

About two weeks.
