Slice alternative: a pizzeria app with no per-order fee
The Slice alternative for pizzerias is your own app with a flat fee. Slice charges $39 a month plus $3 per online order, or $99 a month plus $2 per order with a $1,000 setup. Nomback is a flat $99 a month and $399 setup with no per-order fee, so at 600 orders a month you save about $1,200.
How it works
- We build your pizzeria's own app with your menu, sizes and toppings in about two weeks.
- Hand out the app with a free slice for the first order, the way Anthony's Pizzeria does it.
- Every fifth order earns a free pie if you want, and slow nights get a push deal.

Anthony's Pizzeria, Allentown PA
Anthony's Pizzeria runs its own app built by Nomback, listed under its own name in the App Store. The play is simple: a card in every DoorDash bag gives a free slice for downloading the app, every 5 stamps earns a free pizza, and push deals go out on slow nights.
It also sells memberships: the Slice Club at $9.99 a month for a slice every day, the Pizza Pass at $21.99 and The Famiglia at $24.99. That's monthly money that comes in before anyone orders.
What Slice still does well
Slice is a marketplace with a pizza-only audience, and people find new shops there. If you depend on that discovery, keep it. The money leaks on your regulars, who pay Slice's fee every time they reorder the same large pie. Move those people into your own app and leave Slice for strangers.
