An ordering app for bars and grills

A bar and grill can take takeout orders for wings, burgers and game-day platters in its own app for $99 a month with no commission. Nomback builds the app under your name with a stamp card and push notifications, so you can announce game-day specials to every customer at once instead of paying a delivery app 15% to 30%.

How it works

  1. We load your food menu, wing flavors, platters and specials in about two weeks.
  2. Put the QR code on tables, the bar and every to-go bag.
  3. Before the game, push the wing special; reward every fifth order with a free appetizer.

No commission on any order and no fee added to your customers. Card payments go through Stripe at 2.9% + 30¢. Apple charges $99 a year and Google $25 once for the developer accounts, which are in your name. Month to month, and live in about two weeks. Full pricing.

Game day is your Super Bowl, every week

The big games are delivery days. One Super Bowl estimate had 48 million consumers ordering delivery, while local bars were projected to run below a usual Sunday, except where the home team played: Boston bars were up 18% when the Patriots were in it (Restaurant Business). Takeout catches the people who stay home.

A push notification the morning of the game reaches everyone with your app for free. Wing orders for 6 p.m. can come in at noon, so the kitchen can plan.

What about drinks to go?

Rules differ by state. As of August 2026, 33 states plus D.C. had permanent cocktails-to-go laws (The Daily Pour). Check your state and your license before listing alcohol for pickup, and talk to us before you add it to your app.

Questions owners ask

Can I send a push for game-day specials?

Yes. You can send a push notification to everyone who has your app whenever you want, at no extra cost.

Can I sell alcohol in the app?

That depends on your state's law and your license. Check first, then talk to us about adding it.

Does Nomback handle dine-in tabs?

No. Nomback is for ordering ahead, rewards and memberships, not table service or bar tabs.

What does it cost?

$99 a month and $399 setup, no commission. Stripe card processing is 2.9% + 30 cents.

Can I take big platter orders ahead of time?

Yes. List platters as menu items, and customers order for later pickup.

Will it replace DoorDash?

Most owners keep DoorDash for new customers and move the regulars to their own app.
