How to change the Order Online link on your Google listing

In your Google Business Profile, open Food ordering, choose Add a link and paste your own ordering link, then select it and use Set as preferred to turn on Preferred for pickup and Preferred for delivery. To get rid of a DoorDash, Grubhub or Uber Eats link, select it and choose Remove link; Google says providers must take it down within 5 business days. Turning off Accept orders on your profile hides every third-party link at once. Setting your own link as preferred is the free way to stop paying commission on customers who find you on Google.

Add your own ordering link

  1. Go to your Business Profile (search your restaurant's name on Google while signed in, or business.google.com).
  2. Select Food ordering.
  3. At the bottom of the list, select Add a link.
  4. Paste your ordering link and save.

Make your link the preferred one

  1. Select Food ordering.
  2. Pick your own link from the list.
  3. Select Set as preferred.
  4. Turn on Preferred for pickup and Preferred for delivery, then Save.

You can only set pickup or delivery preference if that link offers it.

Remove DoorDash, Grubhub or Uber Eats from Google

  1. Select Food ordering.
  2. Pick the provider's link.
  3. Select Remove link.

Google says providers must remove the link within 5 business days of your request. If one doesn't, Google's help page links a violation form (Google help). To hide all third-party links at once, turn off Accept orders on your profile.

What link to use

Any page where a customer can order from you directly: your website's order page, a Square or Clover online ordering page, or your own app's ordering link. Adding one to a site you already have: add an order button to your website. Every order that comes through it instead of a delivery app saves you 15% to 30%: DoorDash fees.
