Clover online ordering fees in 2026: what a restaurant pays per order

Clover doesn't charge a separate fee for online ordering on its restaurant plans. You pay the card processing on each online order, which is 3.5% + 10 cents, plus the monthly plan: $89.95 or $109.90 a month for software if you buy the hardware, or $135 to $245 a month on a 36-month lease. On a $30 online order that is $1.15 in processing. In-person cards cost less, 2.3% + 10 cents. Delivery is extra: when Clover launched delivery through DoorDash in 2022 it was $6.99 per delivery order.

The plan fee is left out of every row because you pay it either way.

What Clover's online ordering doesn't do

It gives you an online menu page with your name on it. It doesn't give you your own app in the App Store and Google Play, and it doesn't send push notifications to people's phones. That's the part that brings a regular back on a slow Tuesday, and it's what Nomback adds. It runs on top of Clover, so orders still print on your Clover and show up in your reports. If a web menu page is all you need, Clover's is the cheapest way to do it.
